Welcome to The MOSAIQS Ltd, trading as Charlotte Marian Pearson. By engaging with our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by us, including consulting, advocacy, content creation, peer support, and related services.

1. Services Provided
The MOSAIQS Ltd, trading as Charlotte Marian Pearson, offers a variety of services, including but not limited to:
Consulting
Advocacy
Peer support
Content creation
Personal development
Public speaking
Clients must provide a detailed overview when booking a service to ensure effective preparation. Failure to provide the necessary information may result in delayed or canceled services without refund. All views expressed during the services are the views of Charlotte Marian Pearson and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of third parties.
2. Payment Terms
Upfront Payment:
A 20% refundable deposit is required to secure all services.
Once the service is confirmed (following form submission or consultation), 50% of the total fee is due before the work begins.
The remaining balance must be paid upon completion and before final delivery.
For larger projects, personal styling, and appearances, full payment upfront is required upon confirmation of commitment.
Industry Clients:
Invoicing with 30-90 day payment terms is available for larger industry clients and projects. For productions and work that requires invoicing post-final edit, payment terms will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Payments can be made via bank transfer, PayPal, or credit card.
Invoices will be sent to all clients upon confirmation of services, with clear payment terms based on the agreed policy.
Business clients and industry clients may request payment terms (30-90 days), but these will be subject to agreement on a case-by-case basis.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Deposit Refunds:
The 20% deposit is refundable if I am unable to deliver the service to the agreed standard. However, it is non-refundable if the client cancels the service within 48 hours of the scheduled start.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service are eligible for a refund, minus a 10% administrative fee.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled service will result in the forfeiture of the 20% deposit.
No-Shows: If the client fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, all payments made (including the deposit) will be forfeited, and no refunds will be issued.
Refunds:
Refunds will only be provided if I am unable to deliver the service to the agreed-upon standard. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any eligible refund will exclude the non-refundable deposit if the client cancels within 48 hours
4. Client Responsibilities
Accurate Information:
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when booking. This includes submitting a detailed overview of their needs, objectives, and relevant documents.
Failure to provide accurate information may result in delays or cancellations, and The MOSAIQS Ltd reserves the right to withhold refunds in such cases.
5. Liability Limitation
The MOSAIQS Ltd provides services with reasonable skill and care but makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or completeness of the advice or services provided. The company shall not be held liable for:
Indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of business, revenue, profits, data, or reputation.
Any actions or decisions taken by the client based on the advice provided.
The company’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the provision of services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and documents provided by The MOSAIQS Ltd (including reports, blog posts, templates, and any custom content created for clients) remain the intellectual property of The MOSAIQS Ltd, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for their personal or business use but may not distribute, modify, or reproduce the content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
7. Confidentiality
The MOSAIQS Ltd acknowledges that during the provision of services, it may have access to confidential information relating to the client’s personal, business, or financial matters. All such information will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to any third parties without the client’s prior consent, except where required by law.
Clients agree not to disclose any confidential information shared by The MOSAIQS Ltd during the course of providing services. This confidentiality obligation remains in effect after the termination of the contract or services.
8. Indemnity
The client agrees to indemnify and hold The MOSAIQS Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, or legal fees arising from the client’s use of the services or breach of these terms and conditions.
9. Force Majeure
The MOSAIQS Ltd will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these terms if such delay or failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, pandemic, strikes, government restrictions, or failures in communication systems.
10. Safeguarding and Duty of Care
The MOSAIQS Ltd (trading as Charlotte Marian Pearson) is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all individuals, particularly vulnerable individuals, including children, young people, and neurodivergent individuals.

2. Duty of Care
We maintain a duty of care to protect individuals from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. All interactions will be conducted with sensitivity and in compliance with safeguarding principles.

Any safeguarding concerns will be reported to relevant authorities in accordance with UK law. Confidentiality may be overridden to protect individuals at risk.

11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the issue amicably through direct communication.
If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, either party may request mediation under the rules of the UK’s Civil Mediation Council.
Should mediation fail, disputes shall be settled by the courts of England and Wales under applicable UK law.
12. Amendments to Terms
The MOSAIQS Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page with an updated revision date.
